Simply Amazing – Usually when I have a picture I feel God wants me to create, I see the picture in my mind and continuously think through how I might change or better depict what He wants me to communicate. With this picture, it was the words “Simple Amazing” coming up over and over again as I mulled this picture over in my mind. How do you describe God? That is what the Bible does. The breadth and depth of the Subject is Simply Amazing. As I contemplate these things, I like to remove myself as much as possible from the situation and observe from the outside. When I read the Bible the first time, I was given a Bible that was compiled in chronological order so that the story being told was easier to follow. At the beginning of my reading I was a skeptic but wanted to know more. What I realized a little way into the new testament was that I had fallen in love with God. My mind which was dealing with all the rational arguments for and against had been overcome by my heart. The most incredible thing was that the main themes of the story ran all the way through from the beginning to the end even though they were written by different people separated by hundreds of years.

As you read the various passages of scripture that come out of the Bible at the top of my picture, remember this… Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ Matthew 4:4
